DESERT CHRISTIAN WINS REGIONALS!
RUNNER UP IN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
On May 10 and 11th the DCHS Golf Team competed in the State Championship in Laveen, AZ. At the conclusion of day one, DCHS was in 2nd place lagging 8 strokes behind the leader. Day two proved to be a difficult day on the course, with cool weather and strong winds the DCHS golf team pressed on to make up the 8 strokes needed. At the end of the day, our five made up 4 strokes finishing only 4 strokes behind the leader. Jon Goswitz and Caleb Ferganchick finished in the top ten players.

THE 2010 SEASON BEGINS WITH GREAT EXPECTATION!
Arizona National, a Robert Trent Jones course, is this years home course! Nestled at the base of the Catalina Mountains, this course follows the rugged natural flow of land challenging the very limits of your ability. Come watch our team in this beautiful setting.
Last year the DCHS golf team placed well and made it to state. This year four juniors return along with two sophmores making up a promising team. These young men love the game of golf!
Coach Chamberlin says; "It is my desire that we would honor God on and off the golf course and show Jesus to the other schools through our lives".
